Kabayaki Sauce

Sauce for grilling with a sweet soy flavor. For some additional flavor, especially for vegetables, kombu is a nice addition but other additives can be used too.

Ingredients

• 2 tbsp Sake
• 2 tbsp Mirin
• 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
• 1.5 tbsp Sugar
• 1 tsp Kombu Dashi Granules

Instructions

1. In a saucepan, mix everything together and heat until the sugar has dissolved and let it simmer until slightly reduced.
